Exploring Consciousness and Cultural Perspectives: Mongolian Pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia

Venice, Italy – April 10, 2024 – The Mongolian Pavilion at the prestigious 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia presents an immersive journey into consciousness and societal shifts with its latest exhibition titled "Discovering the Present from the Future" by acclaimed artist Ochirbold Ayurzana.

Under the commission of NOMIN Chinbat, the Minister of Culture of Mongolia, and curated by Oyuntuya Oyunjargal, Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to Germany, and Gregor Jansen, Director of Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the Mongolian pavilion invites professionals, media representatives, art enthusiasts, and friends of Mongolia to experience its groundbreaking exploration.

The journey begins with a Press Conference scheduled for April 18, 2024, at 4 p.m., followed by the Inauguration at 5 p.m., and culminating in the Opening Reception at Serra dei Giardini at 6 p.m.

Located at Arsenale Castello 2127A, Campo de la Tana, adjacent to the Hong Kong Pavilion opposite the entrance to the Biennale Arte Arsenale, the Mongolian Pavilion promises an enlightening experience. The Reception will take place at Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi 1254, just a 6-minute walk from the Pavilion.

The heart of the exhibition lies in the new sculpture installation, "Discovering the Present from the Future," by artist Ochirbold Ayurzana. Inspired by the Buddhist deity Citipati, the artwork symbolizes the impermanence of life and prompts a quest for higher consciousness and enlightenment in Buddhism. Accompanying this is a depiction of the historical Citipati, offering visitors a profound perspective on societal and human behavioral shifts in our globalized world.

Commissioner NOMIN Chinbat, along with curators Oyuntuya Oyunjargal and Gregor Jansen, extend a warm welcome to all attendees.

Join us as we embark on a journey of discovery, consciousness, and cultural exchange at the Mongolian Pavilion, where the present meets the future.
